Le Petit Chateau, up in the glorious wilds of Northumberland... a new wedding venue for me & a nice, relaxed happy day it was too, if a little wet & windy; you can plan everything but the weather.
Pink blossom trees & fresh flowers decorating the aptly named, for a wedding, "Belle Epoque" ceremony room hoping to deliver a spirit of optimism, peace, harmony & prosperity to the happy couple, where better to start a commitment & journey together.
It was a shame we couldn't get outside to take in the grounds & gardens as I had some photographic ideas I'd have like to have tried. However we did manage after the wedding breakfast to indulge a little creativity in perfect blue hour light when the rain & wind eased.
My photography is mainly about capturing real moments with a few creative & formal shots added if the couple want & that is exactly what we created.
